“No Worries”

Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes. Matthew 6:34 (The Message)
When we worry, we go to a place that doesn’t exist and try to address circumstances that may never materialize.
Years ago Nancy Curtis, a pastor’s wife I admire greatly, stated this principle of Matthew 6:34, in a way I finally really understood it. “The reason we never should worry is that our God is a real God. He helps us in our real needs, but when we worry, we enter a pretend place and so we go alone.”
I pray that our real God will comfort you in your real need and that you won’t be isolated from His power by wandering into the mirage generated by worry. God will help you deal with every difficulty you face, but not before you are actually facing it.

Learning that a little bit more... some days more, others so much less. This is life with everything that comes :)

While you’re on your way to where you’re going, enjoy where you are. Don’t wait until everything is perfect before you decide to enjoy your life. -- JMeyer
