Help Is Here

I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever.
— John 14:16

Many people have received Jesus as Savior and Lord. They will go to heaven, but never draw on the full capacity of the Holy Spirit that is available to them or experience the true success God wants them to enjoy on Earth. Simply put, many will be on their way to heaven, but they won’t enjoy the trip.
We often look at those who have wealth, position, power and we consider them “successful.” But many people who are considered successful still lack peace, joy, contentment, and other true blessings. Such people have never learned to depend completely on the power of the Holy Spirit.
People who are self-sufficient often think depending on God is a sign of weakness. But the truth is that by drawing on the ability of the Holy Spirit, they can accomplish more in their lives than they ever could by working in their own strength.
God created us in such a way that although we do have strengths, we also have weaknesses and we need His help. We know He wants to help us because He sent a Divine Helper, the Holy Spirit, to live inside us.
We often struggle needlessly because we do not receive the help available to us. I encourage you to depend on Him, not on your own strength. Whatever you are facing, you don’t have to go through it alone.
God’s word for you today: Your worst day with God will be better than your best day without Him. The Holy Spirit is here to speak to you and help you in every way you need help today.

'But at the end of the day, I have to make a choice for me, for my husband, and for our marriage. I have to make the choice not to let Satan inside the walls of this marriage. I have to make the choice not to get mad over the little things. I have to make the choice to communicate properly.
 I have to make the choice to use the right tone of voice. I have to make the choice to put my husband's needs before my own. I have to make the choice to love my husband every day of my life. And I CHOOSE to do so, because it honors the Lord.'

*comer panquecas com a Tuca e ver o sorriso dela;
*ficar pertinho das cachorrildas quando os trovoes fazem barulho;
*ler um bom livro e fazer mil anotacoes com os gatos no colo;
* comecar um novo projeto de quilt ou terminar costuras ja iniciadas;
*andar de bicicleta na chuva... o, coisa boa so, pena q esta muito frio e eu sai de uma gripe recente;
*escrever longas cartas e colocar fotos para a familia q esta longe;
*preparar um jantar delicioso e bem 'cozy' para o maridao mais tarde;
*arrumar os closets, revirar caixas e dar um fim na papelada da gaveta da cozinha;
*assistir aquele filme de teen com a tuca :)
Curtir um dia de chuva em casa e ser agradecida em qq tempo... requer apenas decisao.

Rainy Day

Rainy Day

Oh... the old rainy days of my life.
I can go back a long time ago in my motherland when I was at middle school and walk in the rain with girlfriends after classes crossing the city going nowhere.
After many years I used to walk in the rain with my love one. Long talks about everything while we were on the sidewalk in our city. We talked and talked - i don't remember exactly what was it but was memorable. We smiled, hold hands and walked a lot these days in the rain.
Last fall I discovered myself biking in the rain. I didn't plan it... the rain just came and I love it so much that I started to take my bike and go after the rain. Was good and very soon I'll do it again!
Today is raining a lot and the thunders came too. While the dog-girls becoming impatient inside the house and the cats oversleep and my Tuca reads at her bunk bed... and enjoy the rain and memories about it.

By the way I hated an umbrella :)
